Noir Photo App Reviews

It does accomplish many of its lofty goals, but falls flat on delivering sufficient resolution. Not only does it downsize photos, it doesnt deliver resolution as great as claimed. Once they upgrade to keep the native resolution of the original photo, this will be a five star review.

This app produces some excellent results. Its a specialty app, so bad reviews for not providing functions outside of this specialty should be taken with a grain of salt. True, theres room for improvements - the ability to add multiple "points of inclusion" would be great, as well as the ability to use the color picker rather than just the four presets.

Wow love this app. Photos come out really nice. Only minus thing is the price. Bit high for the functions. Having no problem on iPhone 4 OS 4.3.3

Tweak it and give it some finer controls and Ill review again. Not worth the price. I feel ripped off. Try Snapseed for fine control, more features and lower cost.

Photos NEVER come out the way their supposed to. When saved to an iPad, the photo effects are in the right place with the photo flipped upside down. Ridiculous!

Way too expensive for what it does. Yes it does what it says its gonna do but I thought it would have more than just adjusting a vignette and adding one of four tints. I kept looking for a spot that opens up more options... to no avail. Save your money.

Granted this application creates amazing, and often very moody and artistic, monocolor images, it is very expensive for what it does. The UI is slick and effects are really good ... but for $2.99 you could possible get three other apps which when comined produce similar effects and then can still be used o create a multitude of others. I am really happy I bought the app, make no mistake, just wish it had given me more bang for my buck!

I love this app! I have received countless compliments on fotos Ive edited with Noir...Yes, a bit pricy, but worth it!!!

This app is so incredible, yet so simple and easy to use. It gives you amazing control over the contrast and allows you to create vignettes or hotspots, burn out a sky to give it a deeper look, and add a sepia tone or really any color youd like. This app can take a landscape photo taken with an iPhone and make it look like an Ansel Adams photograph. I could not praise this app enough. If you love black and white photography, its worth every penny.

Pros: - Great, easy to use interface. Especially love the slider controls for inner brightness, out brightness, and contrast - Variety of vignette options - option for full screen editing Cons: - Doesnt support full resolution - Save option is a bit weird; would like to just save a photo, period. No need to be forced to bring in another photo for editing. This app desperately needs an update. Hasnt been refreshed in over a year.

When it works this app is fantastic, but lately the vignette in my saved image is completely out of place from its intended position.... Making this app useless. Please update !

I really like this app but once you move the position of size of the highlight it doesnt save with your changes, it saves to the default filter. I hope they are working on a fix for this.

Finally bought this app after contemplating for weeks ($ 2.99 app will do that to you)! Been having a great results ever since. I love how the app works also, very cool & classy.

This software does not appear to be getting any updates since it first came out and no longer functions properly on the newer iPads. Adjustments are not saved as seen on the preview screen.

No updates and hardly worth the money spent. Decent concept and a nice try but total thumbs down. Least used edit app on my phone.

Its an alright app, not really worth $2.99 doesnt fit iPhone 5 screen format and really reduces the sharpness of your picture

Been a lot with this app. Its very cool but a desperate need an iPhone 5 update and may be one or two upgrades.
